FAQ

Everything shippers ask us before booking — from choosing a mode to clearing customs.

Freight Forwarding

A freight forwarder plans and coordinates the movement of cargo on a shipper's behalf — booking carriers, managing documentation, and handling the logistics between origin and destination, without owning the ships, planes or trucks themselves.
Even single shipments benefit from a forwarder's carrier relationships and documentation experience, particularly for international moves where customs requirements apply.

Air & Sea Freight

The choice usually comes down to a trade-off between cost and speed: air freight moves faster but at a higher cost per kilogram, while sea freight is more economical for larger, less time-sensitive volumes.
FCL books an entire container for one shipper, while LCL shares a container with other shippers' cargo and is billed by the volume you use.
Booking a few weeks ahead of your intended sailing date is advisable, particularly during peak shipping season when capacity tightens.

Customs & Documentation

A commercial invoice, packing list, and a bill of lading or air waybill are standard, along with any permits specific to the goods being shipped.
Clearance time varies by country and cargo type, but accurate documentation submitted ahead of arrival significantly reduces delays.
Yes, our customs brokerage team can review the documentation and work with customs authorities to resolve holds.

Transit Times & Shipping

Transit time depends on mode, route and cargo type — air freight is measured in days, while ocean freight is typically measured in weeks.
Yes, shipments are tracked across each leg, and our team provides updates at key milestones.

Warehousing & Project Cargo

Yes, storage terms are arranged around your shipment and distribution schedule, whether that's a few days or a longer period.
Project cargo generally refers to oversized, overweight, or otherwise complex shipments that require route planning and specialized handling equipment.
